About The Beer

This version #55 of our limited edition Tinnie Pack features 12 of the latest and greatest cans that are on the market.

Don't mess around because this one isn't going to last long!

If you're looking for some tasty new beers to try, including super popular IPAs then this is for you.

The line-up:

1. Hop Nation x Mountain Culture Grouse Southern Fishing IPA 355ml Can

Earlier this year, the brew team from Mountain Culture came down from the Blue Mountains for a day in the great outdoors. With a common love of fishing, it was only logical that we headed out on the bay to see what we could catch. It was a truly epic trip, which inspired the beer we have crafted together - Grouse Southern, Fishing IPA.

Grouse Southern is a world first 'Fishing IPA', a style imagined to be the perfect companion for fishing, or any activity that requires a beverage capable of ultimate refreshment and sessionability. A full flavoured, moderately hopped beer, comprising of low bitterness, a balanced residual sweetness, a light ~misty~ haze, alongside an approachable 5% ABV.

Notes of pineapple and pine from the Australian Vic Secret hops, and a citric tropical punch from a dose of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin. We decided on a simple, yet silky malt base of Australian Pilsner Malt, Australian Wheat Malt, and Kiwi Malted Oats. ABV 5%

2. Bridge Rd x Moffat Beach Hazy Harvest 440ml Can

"This collaboration was brewed especially for Bridge Road’s annual harvest festival, The High Country Hop. It’s a Hazy IPA, bursting with the unique flavours of freshly harvested local hops from HPA’s Rostrevor Hop Garden." - Bridge Road Brewers ABV 6.4%

3. Freshwater Crisp Lager 375ml Can

Crispy, clean and refreshing. An uncomplicated Aussie lager that keeps you coming back for more. When you want a beer to taste like a beer. No room to hide, we're stoked to brew a beer like this on a small scale system. Get into it.  ABV 4.2%

4. Range Roam Hazy IPA 440ml Can

Roam is a classic Range-style Hazy IPA loaded with Sabro LUPOMAX, Citra, Centennial, and Motueka. Straight out of the gate, as we pour it we get that quintessential milky haze that you know and love with our hazy beers. Juicy notes of orange blossom, mango, tropical coconut and guava dominate the aroma. The palate is packed full of tropical fruit salad vibes featuring mango, papaya, banana (real, not fake), melon and then a little hit of Piña Colada to keep things as joosed up as possible. Grab a can, roam around somewhere nice and enjoy this banger in all its juicy, saturated glory. ABV 6.8%

5. Coastal Showoff: Anchovy Hazy Pale Ale 375ml Can

Single hopped with Anchovy hops.
Anchovy is a new experimental variety from Segal Ranch in the lower Yakima Valley. Initially, it went by the name 24B-05 but was given the controversial name Anchovy by Matt Storm and Brian Strumke from Fast Fashion Brewing in Seattle. Fast Fashion was the first brewery to sponsor acreage.

Fast Fashion Brewing describes the variety as "watermelon hard candy, raspberry, and pine." ABV 5.4%

6. Reckless Watermelon Gose 375ml Can

Prepare your lips for a tangy kiss with this refreshing kettle-soured gose. Expect fresh watermelon licks skipping atop traditional gose ingredients in a gently sour song featuring light saline minerality, a soft and satisfying mouthfeel and zero bitterness. Yum? You bet.  ABV 4.4%

7. Squinters Blueberry Beauregarde Sour 375ml Can

Well I'm a gum chewer normally, but when I heard about these sour ales at Squinters, I laid off the gum and switched to beer instead.

Now, of course, I'm right back on gum. I chew it all day, except at meal times when I stick it behind my ear.

Fruity and hazy this sour has a beautiful bluey purple colour making it as appealing on the eyes as it does on the tastebuds.

8. Grifter Old Panther Black Lager 375ml Can

Thought to be the oldest style of beer in the world, Schwarzbier ("black beer" in German) has to be the most session-able of dark beers. Brewed with a traditional noble hop dating back to the 1800's this crisp lager with restrained chocolate and roasted notes is sure to take you back in time. Brewed to be a very light drinking dark beer. ABV 4.3%

9. Pirate Life Kold IPA 355ml Can

Cold IPAs utilise a cool ferment to minimise ester production, maximising their hoppy impact. In this case, we opted for a Kolsch yeast (hence the ‘K’), which accomplishes the above, while keeping things crisp AF. The grain bill helps with that, too - a blend of malted barley, oats and rice. Remember, we’re shooting for a snappy mouthfeel, not one laden with residual sugars. Mission accomplished.  Expect some cracking hop complexity, thanks to additions throughout. The CRYO Citra is most present, with the remaining strains gifting bursts of orange and tangerine. ABV 6.8%

10. Slipstream Local Jetsetter NZ Hazy IPA 375ml Can

Embark on a thrilling joyride of flavour with this salute to New Zealand's vibrant hop varieties. Superdelic hops propel red berry, citrus and tropical fruit notes, while Moteuka's zesty lime breeze and Waimea's piney finish offers an exhilarating descent. This is 100% Pure New Zealand flavour! ABV 6.4%

11. 8 Wired Venture West Coast IPA 330ml Can

Summer days and punchy bold hop vibes. This West Coast IPA shines bold colourful beams of malt that shimmer off big waves of Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus and Mosaic hops crashing against your tastebuds.  ABV 6%

12. Maui Coconut Hiwa Porter 375ml Can

A robust dark ale with hand-toasted coconut and hints of mocha. ABV 6%
